What is Industry Day at the Range? Industry Day at the Range 2017 will take place on Monday, January 16 from 8:30AM-4:30PM the day before the opening day of SHOT Show at the Boulder Rifle and Pistol Club. The day will be split into two sessions; the first will be open to up to 1,200 invited media members who are welcome to stay the entire day, the afternoon session will open at 12:00PM to up to 700 invited buyers, dealers, distributors, and retailers. Industry Day at the Range gives invited media and buyers the opportunity to shoot and test the latest products from over 170 manufactures. With over 1,600 attendees in 2016, Industry Day continues to be the premier hunting and shooting event in the industry providing hands-on experience for attendees.
Who can attend Industry Day at the Range? Attendance is RESTRICTED to invited media members and buyers in the shooting, hunting, outdoor, military and law enforcement services ONLY. Media attendance to Industry Day at the Range is by invitation only from companies exhibiting at Industry day and registration is now CLOSED. We have reached capacity for the number of attendees that can be reasonably and safely accommodated. There is no on-site registration. If you are a member of the media and wish to attend Industry Day at the Range 2018, we suggest reaching out to an exhibitor you work closely with in June 2017 to request to be included on their invitation list.
This policy has been in effect for several years and has resulted in a positive experience both for exhibitors and attendees. The show is not open to the public.
How do I receive an invitation? All invites are submitted from companies exhibiting. Registration is closed for 2017. If you are a member of the media and wish to attend Industry Day at the Range 2018, we suggest reaching out to an exhibitor you work closely with in June 2017 to request to be included on their invitation list.
How do I know if I am invited? NEW for 2017: Invited individuals had the ability to register for Industry Day during their SHOT Show registration process. Registration is now CLOSED.
How do I register? Individuals who were invited had the option to register to attend Industry Day during their SHOT Show registration process. Registration is now CLOSED as we have reached capacity, there is no onsite registration.
How do I add crew? During the registration process, invited media have the ability to add up to 3 crew. This does not register your crew for SHOT Show or Industry Day, simply provides them the ability to register for Industry Day during their SHOT Show registration process. If you are not ready to add crew during your registration process you can return to your SHOT Show dashboard to add crew later. All crew members must be registered by December 23. There is no on-site registration for attendees or crew.
What are the show hours? The event will take place from 8:30AM-4:30PM on Monday, January 16, the day before the opening day of SHOT Show. Can I bring a guest to Industry Day? No, Industry Day is for invited members of the media and buyers only. No guests are permitted.
Is there on-site registration? No, you must be pre-registered to attend.
How will I receive my badge? Your SHOT Show badge also serves as your Industry Day badge. Media registered for Industry Day will have a camera icon indicating range access. All media who have registered and have been approved for credentials will receive their badge in the mail, except those residing outside the United States. International media, and anyone else who did not receive their badge in advance of the show can pick up their credentials at the Media Badge Pickup Desk outside the SHOT Show Press Room, Murano Ballroom, Level 3 of the Venetian Hotel. You may also have your badge printed at the range.
Where can I eat at the range? Thanks to our sponsor STI International, a lunch ticket will be provided to all media. The ticket can be redeemed at any of the variety of food trucks located throughout the range between 11:00AM and 2:30PM. Breakfast will also be available to purchase at the food trucks from 8:30AM – 10:30AM. Water bottles provided by Media Lodge will be available throughout the range in Yeti Coolers.
Due to limited parking driving to Industry Day is not recommended. What forms of transportation is available? NSSF provides bus transportation to and from the range. View the bus schedule to see the times and pick-up locations on the Stip. Directions can be found here.

Can I bring my pet to Industry Day? NO animals except for properly identified on-duty ADA recognized service animals.
Are personal firearms or ammunition allowed? NO personal firearms or ammunition allowed.
What should I bring? Thanks to our sponsor Peltor Sport, eyes and ears will be provided however, if you prefer your own set of eyes & ears feel free to bring those. Bring a backpack to carry items you may receive from exhibitors. Wear good walking shoes, and look at the weather report before heading out to Las Vegas.
